Inspiration Monday: Silent Conversation

I forgot about Goodreads and then was meaning to get back on it, and lo and behold, I actually remembered my login! Now I intend to catalog my entire library! Bwahahahahahahaha. Then back to having conversations with myself about how I already have too many books, no that’s ridiculous, you can never have too many books.

Just like you can never have too much flash fiction:

“We’re standing in our own graves.”

Jim looked at Harry, at the rivulets of water cutting streaks down his muddy face. He looked at his combat boots, ankle deep in trench sludge mixed with blood. Eighteen days in a standoff. Rations gone. Ammunition dwindling.

“Yeah,” he replied. “But we’re standing.”

Inspiration Monday: Is That A Real Place?

Listening to this Welcome to Night Vale thing everyone’s talking about. I don’t know if I like it yet…it’s so…strange. Do any of y’all listen to it?

Just a few this week, but good ones.

Inspiration Monday: Extinction

Crazy week, crazy weather! Saturday I had all the windows open, enjoying the sunshine and soft springy breezes – Sunday morning the curtains were frozen to the glass. Ah, Texas. Always keeping us on our toes.

Hey, if you missed it, you can hear me play ukulele and learn how to format your manuscript at the same time.

And look, a whole slew of fun things to read:
