This week in the InMon lab: Wondering what you’re going to make for dinner tonight and then discovering half a patty melt leftover from yesterday’s lunch in the fridge. In other news, I’m wondering what the neighbors will think of me spreading soil over a new flowerbed after dark. There just wasn’t enough sun in Sunday!
And now for our top stories:

The Rules
There are none. Read the prompts, get inspired, write something. No word count minimum or maximum. You don’t have to include the exact prompt in your piece, and you can interpret the prompt(s) any way you like.
OR
No really; I need rules!
Okay; write 200-500 words on the prompt of your choice. You may either use the prompt as the title of your piece or work it into the body of your piece. You must complete it before 6 pm CST on the Monday following this post.
The Prompts:*
THE SNARK AGES
DECONSTRUCTION BLOCKS
LEVIATHAN COUCH
REIGN GAUGE
SKY FISH
Want to share your Inspiration Monday piece? Post it on your blog and then give me the link in the comments below (I’ll also love you more if you link back to me); I’ll include a link to your piece in the next Inspiration Monday post. No blog? Email your piece to me at stephanie (at) bekindrewrite (dot) com. (I do reserve the right to NOT link to a piece as stated in my Link Discretion Policy.)
Plus, get the InMon badge for your site here.
Happy writing!

- This week’s prompts another joint effort with Jubilare.
Because of course you weren’t burying bodies. *cough* It’s a good thing that, as authors, we don’t actually have to deal with all the material aspects of the carnage we write about.
There would be so much squick.
And far fewer writers to contend with. …of course, they’d also be considered a public menace, so… I think there is short-story material here…
Burying fictional bodies…
That’s what “Forensics and Fiction” should have been called: “How to Get Rid of a Fictional Body.”
Yes! Oh my, yes. That is exactly what it should have been called!
“Deconstruction blocks” was to hard to pass up…

Stephanie. Here is my attempt at Snarking.
Each microsecond added to another microsecond eventually becomes infinity.
