This week at the InMon Homestead: The giving of thanks! The comping of food. The cuffing of hands. The towing of cars. The raining of rain.

A light (but enjoyable) week for our top stories; the timing is good, because my brain is squash:

    • Well, the handcuffs were a voluntary game in the waiting room of my cousin’s “escape room” business. Apparently these real-life gaming events are all the rage now, though I hadn’t heard about them before. You go in a room with a team and work together to find clues and solve riddles to break out. It was really fun; you would enjoy it (the rooms themselves don’t involve handcuffs). My cousin’s is in Austin – 15locks.com – but there may be some near you.

The car towing crisis was averted by my asthmatic uncle running after the tow truck. In the rain.

      Crazy fun times.

      • Oh! I have heard of those. There is, indeed, one near me and a friend of mine wants to do it, so I probably will at some point. ^_^ I’m a little worried about my competitive nature coming to bite me in the…

        Oy… >_<
