This week in InMon Central: InMonster Zero was brushing her teeth around midnight:thirty, preparing to turn down for the customary forty winks when she suddenly remembered it was Monday.
In other news, now I really want Cocoa Puffs.
So, yeah. Here’s the stuff, a bit late:
Spider42 (missed from last week!)

The Rules
There are none. Read the prompts, get inspired, write something. No word count minimum or maximum. You don’t have to include the exact prompt in your piece, and you can interpret the prompt(s) any way you like.
OR
No really; I need rules!
Okay; write 200-500 words on the prompt of your choice. You may either use the prompt as the title of your piece or work it into the body of your piece. You must complete it before 6 pm CST on the Monday following this post.
The Prompts:
Musical blueprints
I Got Nothing
Indented Puns
Unexplained bruises
Human Proof
Want to share your Inspiration Monday piece? Post it on your blog and then give me the link in the comments below (I’ll also love you more if you link back to me); I’ll include a link to your piece in the next Inspiration Monday post. No blog? Email your piece to me at stephanie (at) bekindrewrite (dot) com. (I do reserve the right to NOT link to a piece as stated in my Link Discretion Policy.)
Plus, get the InMon badge for your site here.
Happy writing!
Hey!
Got a new one! After falling a little late on my last time around, got a juicy new story this time around.
https://anansisweb.wordpress.com/2015/05/27/short-story-warm-beginnings-a-dark-vedanta-tale/
It’s not as prompt heavy as I usually like to make them when I use these and it’s a new installment in a series (all unconnected as such, standalone reads!) I’m writing.
Should warn those not so inclined, it’s a little fantasy-horror in nature. Not terrifyingly dark, but it’s not happy per-se.
Cheers!
Also, Stephanie, please feel free to credit me as A-Ku since I haven’t used the Spider moniker in quite a while. Unless of course you prefer to think of me as Spider42, in which case please go right ahead! 🙂
A few unexplained bruises…

“I Got Nothing” really illustrates my writing frame of mind today. . . .
