Only one InMonster this week, probably because the rest of us are still reeling from Voice Week.
But that’s okay, because guys – it’s in the Whoniverse.

The Rules
There are none. Read the prompts, get inspired, write something. No word count minimum or maximum. You don’t have to include the exact prompt in your piece, and you can interpret the prompt(s) any way you like.
OR
No really; I need rules!
Okay; write 200-500 words on the prompt of your choice. You may either use the prompt as the title of your piece or work it into the body of your piece. You must complete it before 6 pm CST on the Monday following this post.
The Prompts:
DEFY THE INEVITABLE
DEATH BY FLIP FLOP
LOLLIPOP FIELDS
DO NOT PRESS
BROKEN HEART TRANSPLANT
Want to share your Inspiration Monday piece? Post it on your blog and then give me the link in the comments below (I’ll also love you more if you link back to me); I’ll include a link to your piece in the next Inspiration Monday post. No blog? Email your piece to me at stephanie (at) bekindrewrite (dot) com. (I do reserve the right to NOT link to a piece as stated in my Link Discretion Policy.)
Plus, get the InMon badge for your site here.
Happy writing!

I’m still working on a piece inspired by last week – it actually is allowing me to complete a story I started years ago, and it’s turning into a thing so I’ll let you know when I finish it.:)
Ooo. Cool. Do let me know.
I found this, today. It’s nothing “official,” of course, but hey, we make official.

Ah, yes! I looked up the same after initially skimming your email (which I still need to reply to). After which I remembered seeing that method in a few webcomics. I guess I forgot because I don’t read many. And I’d never seen it done in a novel – but I have a friend who loves Timothy Zahn.
Thank you thank you thank you. This is immensely helpful.
I couldn’t pass up flip flops…

Here’s my submission. Yours is the only challenge I’m doing this week. I can only handle this one because I keep dropping off at the computer due to pain pills. Hope you like it. It’s a doozy. Lucy
