Hump day for Voice Week!
“Yes, Mr. Carson worked under my supervision. I hired him. I would describe him as…dependable. Professional. I can’t attest to his mental state. He didn’t bring his personal life to work with him, but he seemed a very stable young man. To be honest, this came as a surprise. I thought at first there must be some kind of mix-up and it had been Hank Martin. People often mixed the two of them up; they shared an office, were old friends, I believe. Will Carson was not the one I would have guessed would go off the deep end.”

A very professional voice spouting off very professional and usual stuff. It gets a little warmer around the middle, though, and especially at the end. Older than Will, but not by much, I would think? I dunno. Doesn’t quite sound middle-aged to me, but I’m not sure why. Also seems male, but I wouldn’t bet on that.
Very different from the other two. And the mystery still unfolds…
You’re right, he’s male. I did picture him 40s or 50s, but on further reading I think he does sound at the younger end of that spectrum, or maybe upper 30s.
Interesting that we get the mention of another person…now my suspicions are heightened 🙂
Love the difference. From good ole gal to suited professional.
Thank you! Right on.
We got some names, now, which is good or else I would have started getting confused. I love how this is even more detached than the first – it makes it possible for us to understand the situation as is, without layers and layers of emotion to dig through constantly. Looking forward to more!!
Ah, yes. Names are much more useful than pronouns for clarifying a story. Hopefully today’s will make it even clearer. Thanks for reading!
I like the professional, slightly disinterested tone of this voice. Completely different from the other two. You haven’t got much time left to solve the mystery…
Thank you! It won’t take much time.
Hmm…now I want to hear from this other person. I really enjoyed this, very well done.
Hank was yesterday’s voice, actually. Maybe I should have labeled them? And thank you!
