The Rules
There are none. Read the prompts, get inspired, write something. No word count minimum or maximum. You don’t have to include the exact prompt in your piece, and you can interpret the prompt(s) any way you like.
OR
No really; I need rules!
Okay; write 200-500 words on the prompt of your choice. You may either use the prompt as the title of your piece or work it into the body of your piece. You must complete it before 6 pm CST on the Monday following this post.
The Prompts:
Traveling by balloon
Candy from strangers
Free bride
Come with us if you want to live*
All according to plan
Want to share your Inspiration Monday piece? Post it on your blog and link back to today’s post (here’s a video on how to do it); I’ll include a link to your piece in the next Inspiration Monday post. No blog? Email your piece to me at bekindrewrite (at) yahoo (dot) com.

*A line from Skillet’s song Earth Invasion one the album Alien Youth.
Hey, you forgot me! My story from last week is called The King of the Forest and the link is http://chriswhitewrites.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/you-wish-jellyfish
Wait, that’s not the link! The right link is http://chriswhitewrites.wordpress.com/2012/01/18/the-king-of-the-forest/
That quote’s not from alien youth.
Argh; you’re right. I should have said it’s from the ALBUM Alien Youth. The song is Earth Invasion.
Thanks for keeping me on my toes, my fellow panhead.

Here is one of my entries: http://scriptorwrites.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/giving-up-is-not-an-option/
I was inspired by the prompt “All According to Plan”.
Yeah the quote is from Arnie, “Come with me if you want to live…” (Terminator)
Anyway here’s mine for this week, Flight of Fancy: A Cautionary Tale
