Inspiration Monday XVIII

Fewer submissions this week, as it is officially Summer! Thanks to the Rewriters still pumping out words this week, and all worth reading (or listening to, as is sometimes the case!). In other news, I was interviewed last week by Rewriter Marantha (and flattered as all get out).

Read up, folks! /

SAB Inspirations

The Rules

There are none. Read the prompts, get inspired, write something. No word count minimum or maximum. You don’t have to include the exact prompt in your piece, and you can interpret the prompt(s) any way you like.

No really; I need rules!

Okay; write 200-500 words on the prompt of your choice. You may either use the prompt as the title of your piece or work it into the body of your piece. You must complete it before 6 pm CST on the Monday following this post.

The Prompts:

Eternally five minutes*

Voices of the wind*

Ancient astronaut

I dreamed this

A reason to fight

“I dreamed this” gave me that feeling… let’s see if I can get my game back on.

  4. Just the shot of inspiration I needed to get my writing back on track!

Here’s my story using the Ancient Astronaut prompt:

  5. I have missed a few InMons lately. My new novel has been taking up most of my time but my reward for good behaviour is a flash piece here or there. Here is my entry:
