Inspiration Monday has turned out to be even more fun than I thought; the participants have done an incredible job. I am consistently surprised and impressed by their unique interpretations. You should definitely go check them out:
Did I miss any participants? Let me know in the comments!

The Rules
There are none. Read the prompts, get inspired, write something. No word count minimum or maximum. You don’t have to include the exact prompt in your piece, and you can interpret the prompt(s) any way you like.
OR
No really; I need rules!
Okay; write 200-500 words on the prompt of your choice. You may either use the prompt as the title of your piece or work it into the body of your piece. You must complete it before 6 pm CST on the Monday following this post.
The Prompts:
The last book in the universe*
The stranger on the subway
Worse than death
Why children fear the dark
I’m not crazy
If you want to share your Inspiration Monday piece, post it on your blog and link back to today’s post; I’ll include a link to your piece in the next Inspiration Monday post.
Happy writing!

*Today’s first prompt brought to you by The Last Book in the Universe, by Rodman Philbrick.
Another Monday of anticipation and excitement to try something new—and fear and panic too!
Just you wait. I’m planning something really exciting, which I’ll hopefully announce in the next couple of months. First, I have to figure out if it’s TOO challenging.
Nah, we love a challenge (um, right guys?)
I think the more offbeat the prompts, the more inspiring, so thanks!
I meant too challenging for me, haha. I’m going to test it out before I dump it on you guys.
PS—Let us know if we need to start addressing you as Miss Stephanie!
I’ll buy a blackboard, and you can bring me apples!
Oh wow. These are already calling to me!
Yes. It’s all part of my evil plan. Bwahahaha!
Yes, well they’re not making it easy to focus on homework. Haha
Consider it extra-curricular English.
That just might work. I’ll just have to tell my parents that. lol
It especially works if you’re home schooled. I probably only had one year of “real” English in high school, but counted five years because I was writing the whole time. It must have worked, because I killed on the writing section of my SAT.

Thanks for the mention!
Theses are just too irresistable. And this week you saved my A$$. Am posting this at nearly 23h00 – very late due to being swamped with work. But you made my job easy by having such fantastic topics.
Okay – here goes this week’s attempt:
I’m Not Crazy
Thanks again for all of your effort.
I’m truly flattered you find them irresistable. I’ve often wondered where you get your ideas. You’re always coming up with something new! Seriously…do you take time to brainstorm, or do they just come to you randomly while you’re washing dishes or something?

I follow Find an Outlet and loved the writings she had done so I decided to come and check out what is happening here. Is it too late to join the fun? I like the prompts this week so thought I’d play along.
Also, hope you don’t mind if I add you to my blog roll, always love good advice, tips, etc.
It’s never too late. I’m thrilled to have you around!
Also, thanks for the blog roll spot! I definitely don’t mind. : )

I included a track back but I do not see it, not sure if it is waiting for approval, so apologies if this is duplicate. Here is my modest attempt at your wonderful prompts: http://indigospider.wordpress.com/2011/03/20/inspiration-monday/
Yeah, just had to approve it. No worries!
